Artificial Intelligence is coming into our every day lives at a rapid pace and the results are astounding! All of the major technologies are embracing it as the wave of the future. The speed of which it can collect and analyze data will make it a fantastic tool that can accelerate any business, including yours!

How To Leverage Artificial Intelligence for Marketing

Some of the basic AI tools available to the public involve chat functions and image creation. You can go right now to ChatGPT and ask it to write your next press release, blog article, or TV script with just a few details regarding your goals. AI can generate email campaigns, social media posts, graphics, and so much more in mere seconds. Sounds like you'll finally get ahead of the game, right? Maybe not.

If the one with the most marketing "wins" the customer and we all start relying on AI to pump out as much content as we can, we're going to turn the landscape into nothing but spam. Current projections are that leveraging the power of AI will be the most effective in other ways while we maintain respectful relationships with our customers.

Using AI to Analyze

How often do you check the traffic patterns of your website? Are you too pressed for time to sort through all of the data? Not sure what the data is even trying to tell you? This is a great application for AI. You can generate reports from your website's engagement and ask an AI bot pertinent questions about what is buried in there to help you make informed decisions.

Instead of blasting out as much content as possible, AI can help you better target the customers who are in the most need for your product. Asking an AI who is the most likely demographic to purchase your product or service can help you hone in on mailing lists for postcard campaigns, or push digital ads on platforms where they spend the most time.

Using AI to Design

Beyond analyzing data, identifying trends, and summarizing information there are artificial intelligence design programs as well to expedite the creation of graphics and videos. For example, the image show to the right was generated by AI using the prompt: "a clearing in a woods, but the leaves of the trees are vivid neon colors. Include a ray of light shining down into the clearing."

A designer might spend hours scouring the depths of every stock photography library to find the right kind of vibrant forest. With the help of AI generators, two or three tries wording the prompt in the right way can get them the image they need much faster.

It can be used to create logo ideas, editorial images, and more but be wary... AI is a long way from being perfect. Your pictures may come out with cars that have one too many windshields or people that have dogs for hands. If you need a critical, high-profile representation of your business, a professional photoshoot and/or human designer is still your best bet.

These are just a few examples of how to start using AI in your business without sacrificing the personal touch consumers are looking latch on to. Think of it as more as your personal assistant ready to help get the information you need to drive your business forward, while good customer service and targeted communications relevant to consumer's interests are at the forefront.

Break ing Into the Tradeshow Scene Attending your first trade show as an exhibitor is an exciting milestone for your business! It’s a great opportunity to showcase your brand, connect with potential clients, and make a lasting impression in your industry. But before you dive in, there are some key things to consider to ensure your trade show experience is a success. The tradeshow world runs on it's own set of rules and regulations that could cause financial or logistical issues if you're not familiar with it. Here are the top things to watch out for and ask about when reserving your booth space. Sign-Up Early One of the biggest hurdles of exhibiting at your first tradeshow is the organizations hosting the event usually cater to companies that had attended the show in the past. When you exhibit at a show, you get the right to choose your booth for the next year's event before they open it up to the general public. So you'll want to make the decision attend a tradeshow a year in advance for the best options to select from the booth locations that are left. If it's a last minute decision to have a display at a tradeshow and you end up stuck in the only spot left in the back corner by the bathrooms, don't fret! First of all, the bathrooms edit a lot traffic. Plus, just getting your foot in the door as an established exhibitor will give you the better advantage to signing up for the next year's event in a much better spot.

Social media is a vital tool for small businesses looking to build brand awareness, connect with customers, and drive growth. But one of the most common questions small business owners face is: "How often should I post?" Most social media experts recommend once a day or even up to 5 times per day! Who has time for that?! While that might be great for a mommy-blogger or big name brands, small businesses are more likely to irritate their followers by pushing that much content about their products and services. Also, it's down right difficult to come up with that many new ideas! Especially if you have other responsibilities in your company.
