Straightforward, No B.S. Marketing

"Marketing" doesn't have to be a dirty word. Many consumers are getting tired of today's sleazy "marketing" tactics. Invasive tracking algorithms, obnoxiously loud jingles, or releasing the same product with new packaging are just a couple of examples of how companies are grasping at gimmicks to trick people into the sale instead of promoting the benefits they can provide.

The vision of Graphic Haven is to help you build your marketing materials in a way that is honest, thought provoking, and distributes your messaging in a respectful way to your clientele -- and have fun doing it! We focus on the good ol' fashioned educating of people regarding the benefits your products and services can provide. The best way for those concepts to come to life is through great visuals -- that's were we come in.

Meet Melanie

This anti-sleaze approach is the result of Melanie Jayjack's experience in the marketing world. She has spent over 20 years on a career journey including graphic design, marketing strategy/management, product development, instructional design, event planning, and so much more. Through that path, she has participated in some great campaign ideas and some that felt too manipulative for her tastes. Hence, the birth of Graphic Haven -- the place to go for advertising with integrity.

Melanie has experienced a wide variety of opportunities to apply these skills. Her most recent expertise and passion was focused on marketing in the water treatment space. This included 10 years of supporting the advertising initiatives for local water treatment dealers and from a manufacturers stand point. This mix of B-to-B and B-to-C marketing gave her insight to every perspective of the world of water quality.

Most consumers are unaware of their need for water treatment, so much of the advertising in the industry required education. This is what led Melanie into exploring instructional design. It's a great hybrid of using creative talents to bring complex ideas down to simple, digestible content.

Water treatment marketing isn't her only forté. She has also worked for other skilled trades like asphalt companies, hospitality and food services, healthcare industries, non-profits, and other businesses big and small. Her strong understanding of science and mathematical principles are the key to translating the years of specialized knowledge these businesses provide into consumer-friendly advertising that helps them connect with their communities.

Marketing the Way You Want It

Gimmicks and invasive advertising campaigns may increase sales in the moment, but they will only get you so far before needing the next new thing. We take the time to understand your offering and teach people why you're the right choice for them, because that is the way to build your (and our) business on integrity. The longevity of your customer base will last years and lead to priceless referral leads.

Graphic Haven is your reprieve from frustrating marketing agencies who are in it for themselves. We will transform your vision into tangible results through a fun and respectable process. Contact us today for a meet and greet to see how we can help you!

Break ing Into the Tradeshow Scene Attending your first trade show as an exhibitor is an exciting milestone for your business! It’s a great opportunity to showcase your brand, connect with potential clients, and make a lasting impression in your industry. But before you dive in, there are some key things to consider to ensure your trade show experience is a success. The tradeshow world runs on it's own set of rules and regulations that could cause financial or logistical issues if you're not familiar with it. Here are the top things to watch out for and ask about when reserving your booth space. Sign-Up Early One of the biggest hurdles of exhibiting at your first tradeshow is the organizations hosting the event usually cater to companies that had attended the show in the past. When you exhibit at a show, you get the right to choose your booth for the next year's event before they open it up to the general public. So you'll want to make the decision attend a tradeshow a year in advance for the best options to select from the booth locations that are left. If it's a last minute decision to have a display at a tradeshow and you end up stuck in the only spot left in the back corner by the bathrooms, don't fret! First of all, the bathrooms edit a lot traffic. Plus, just getting your foot in the door as an established exhibitor will give you the better advantage to signing up for the next year's event in a much better spot.

Social media is a vital tool for small businesses looking to build brand awareness, connect with customers, and drive growth. But one of the most common questions small business owners face is: "How often should I post?" Most social media experts recommend once a day or even up to 5 times per day! Who has time for that?! While that might be great for a mommy-blogger or big name brands, small businesses are more likely to irritate their followers by pushing that much content about their products and services. Also, it's down right difficult to come up with that many new ideas! Especially if you have other responsibilities in your company. Let us map out a plan that is not only more reasonable but will help make your social media easier to manage in the long run.
